Organic Personal Care Products Are Gaining Popularity in Many Developed and Emerging Regions with Growing Number of Working Women

Organic Personal Care Products Market

The rise of awareness has also led to a shift in consumer behavior. Organic personal care products have increased in popularity as a result of the 'Less is More' philosophy. In fact, a recent survey showed that 55% of U.S. consumers would consider switching from their traditional products to organic ones. However, it may take a while to change consumer behavior.

The FDA does not regulate organic personal care products. However, organic body care products are regulated by the United States Department of Agriculture. Moreover, organic personal care products do not contain agricultural ingredients. In fact, they are not required to comply with USDA organic standards. As such, consumers should choose organic personal care products carefully.

The personal care industry has attempted to influence the NOP's policy by writing its own standards for Organic Personal Care Products. Some of the draft standards have been authored by the personal care task force. They would like NOP to adopt those standards. However, the group is made up of private certifiers and experts from all sizes of industry. The result of this is that the draft standards are in many ways too lenient and may even hinder stronger regulation in the industry. Organic personal care products have also become a popular choice in many developed nations. The growing number of working women is another major factor driving demand. A wide distribution channel has also spurred the growth of organic personal care products in these regions.

A third-party certification organization is required in order to sell products that meet their standards. If a product is labeled organically or naturally, it will bear the seal of an independent organization. These seals will also tell consumers whether the product is organic or not. Organic personal care is more expensive than non-organic products, however, the quality is far superior. The Organic and Sustainable Industry Standards are the first standards that are recognized as being organic in the United States. Recently, In June 2021, SO’BiO etic, a leading organic beauty brand launched its product line of organic beauty products in the U.S.
