In response to this challenge, broadcasters started adopting a "building block" approach.  They could also use the same technology to integrate different technologies into the broadcast plant. With a modern broadcast plant, broadcasters no longer need to upgrade or replace outdated equipment. Increasing adoption of IPTV and HDTV is boosting the adoption of broadcast infrastructure. Broadband proliferation is driving on-demand consumer viewing and subscription-based OTT platforms.

Live video services are increasingly popular with consumers, and they require fast network access to several connected devices. The largest live streaming platform in India, Hotstar, is a prime example of this technology.  Broadcast Infrastructure solutions are capable of storing and accessing these contents at a moment's notice, and they are able to repurpose them for various purposes.
